It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God, through Christ our Lord. Who, without need of the empty shades of fleshly victims, committed His Body and Blood as a sacrifice for us: that a pure sacrifice, which alone has pleased Thee, might be offered to Thy name in every place. Therefore in this mystery of Thy inscrutable wisdom and boundless charity, that very thing which He once accomplished on the Cross does not cease to be accomplished, He Himself both sacrificing and sacrificed. And He invites us, made a single victim with Him, to the holy banquet, in which He Himself is taken up as our food, the memory of His Passion is renewed, the mind is filled with grace, and a pledge of future glory is given us. And therefore with Angels and Archangels, with Thrones and Dominations, and with all the hosts of the heavenly army we sing a hymn to Thy glory, evermore saying:

It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God: Thou Who art glorified in the assembly of the saints, and Who by crowning their merits, crownest Thy own gifts: Thou Who bestowest on us edification by their intercourse, partnership by their communion, aid by their intercession. So That, having been endowed with such a great throng of witnesses, we might with perseverance run the contest crown of glory. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, by Whose blood entry into the eternal kingdom is prepared for us. Through Whom the trembling angels adore Thy majesty, and all the choirs of heavenly spirits together celebrate in common exultation. It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks to Thee, holy Lord, Father almighty, eternal God: Thou Who inhabitest this house of prayer, which we have built, as the bestower of all goods, and Who sanctifiest the Church, which Thou hast founded, by unceasing operation. For this is truly a house of prayer, figured by visible buildings, a temple for the dwelling of Thy glory, an unchanging seat of truth, a sanctuary of eternal charity. This is the ark that leads us, snatched from the inundation of the world, into the port of safety. This is the beloved and only betrothed, whom Christ has won by His blood, whom He enlivens by His Ghost, in whose bosom reborn by Thy grace we are nourished by the milk of the word, fortified by the bread of life, warmed by the help of Thy mercy. She contends faithfully on earth with the help of the Bridegroom, Who Himself crowns her triumphant forever in heaven. And therefore with Angels and Archangels, with Thrones and Dominations, and with all the hosts of the heavenly army we sing a hymn to Thy glory, evermore saying:
