Haus Jakob

The aim of Haus Jakob is to foster Catholic Faith and Virtues among people in China. The belief of Haus Jakob is adhered to that of the Catholic Church, which is summarised by the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed, and is further explained in the Roman Catechism. In regard to the regime known as the People’s Republic of China, Haus Jakob conforms to the judgement and teachings of Pope Pius XII, made under the guidance of the Holy Ghost, documented in encyclical Ad Sinarum Gentem among other documents.

Haus Jakob 的宗旨是在生活在中華大地上的人們中間增進天主教信仰與美德。Haus Jakob 的信仰依附於天主教會的信仰。天主教會的信仰可由《宗徒信經》和《尼西亞信經》概括，並在《羅馬教理》中被進一步解釋。在有關所謂「中華人民共和國」政權的問題上，Haus Jakob 遵從教宗庇護十二世，在天主聖神的引導下，做出的判斷與訓諭。相關訓諭可見於《致中華人民》通諭等教會文件。

Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried: He descended into hell, the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

宗徒信經

我信全能者天主聖父，化成天地。我信其唯一聖子、耶穌基利斯督我等主。我信其因聖神降孕，生於瑪利亞之童身。我信其受難，於般雀比辣多居官時，被釘十字架，死而乃瘞。我信其降地獄，第三日自死者中復活。我信其升天，坐於全能者天主聖父之右。我信其日後從彼而來，審判生死者。我信聖神。我信有聖而公教會，諸聖相通功。我信罪之赦。我信肉身之復活。我信常生。亞孟。

Nicene Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God. Born of the Father before all ages. God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God. Begotten, not made, of one substance with the Father. By Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And He became flesh by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary: and was made man. He was also crucified for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried. And on the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. And of His kingdom there will be no end. And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified; and Who spoke through the Prophets. And one, holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. And I await the resurrection of the dead. And the life of the world to come. Amen.

尼西亞信經

我信惟一天主全能父，化成天地，並可見與不可見之諸物。我信惟一主耶穌基利斯督天主獨子，於萬世前由父而生，主自主，光自光，真主自真主，乃受生非受造，與父同體，萬物因之而受造，彼為吾人並為救贖吾儕，從天降下，因聖神而生於童貞瑪利亞遂成為人，於般雀比辣多時曾受苦難，被人埋葬，依聖經言，三日復活然後升天，坐於聖父之右，將要重新榮然降來審判生死者，其國無窮。我信聖神，主使人重生發於聖父聖子，並與聖父聖子同受欽崇，同受光榮，藉先知口嘗說預言。我信惟一聖而公教會，從宗徒傳下來的。我信惟一聖洗，赦免罪愆。我信死者復活，我信來世常生。亞孟。
